IIP-52 Revenue Distribution Pre-fuel Prod. and Compensation for Delay DECLINED

  • The simultaneous launch of Illuvium Zero (IZ), Overworld, and Arena on July 25th, as per IIP-54, renders the proposal outdated.
  • Additional compensation and revised revenue distribution structures are unnecessary because Fuel crates airdrops and ILV Loyalty rewards already mitigate the impact on landowners.
  • The rationale for pressuring the Illuvium Main Council to prioritize Zero is unfounded since development is managed by Labs, not the Council.
  • Penalizing ILV stakers to benefit landowners is inequitable and sets a bad precedent.
  • Ensuring fair and beneficial outcomes for the entire DAO is paramount, making this proposal unsuitable

IIP-53 Automated Drone Trips for Resource Gathering REVISIONS NEEDED

  • The concept is fundamentally good, providing another sink for the game and increasing efficiency in aspects players may not find interesting.
  • The proposal should be revised to:
    • Differentiate between the concept and execution, allowing Labs flexibility in ideating features.
    • Segment community feedback to influence, but not dictate, the final product.
  • Game system proposals should give Labs the freedom to shape features without being constrained.
  • The idea of players spending money to save time in acquiring assets is valid but requires checks to protect the economy and gameplay.
  • Implementing this concept pre-emptively could be premature without data on player behavior post-launch.
  • Current systems allow player agency via the marketplace, which should be maintained.
  • Excessive detail in the proposal might restrict Labs' ability to build and tweak game systems.

  • Similar to IIP-50; the ideas need to be merged into a single proposal.
  • The proposal is too detailed, encroaching on game design responsibilities that should remain with Illuvium Labs.
  • Concerns were raised about gameplay integration and economic implications, particularly the risk of harming the intended economy by allowing experience gain outside Arena/Overworld combat.

  • Arena rewards are already planned for the open beta launch, making this proposal redundant.

  • The idea that players need rewards to enjoy the game is disagreed upon; forced rewards can incentivize unsportsmanlike behavior and limit leaderboard significance.

IIP-58 Coherent and Consistent Airdrop Structure REVISIONS NEEDED

  • Holos/Dark Holos should be prioritized, and the chance to gain points quickly is driving new player interest.
  • The belief that all players are solely focused on airdrop points is not universally applicable; many still enjoy the game itself.
  • Although Holos/Dark Holos may feel overdone to some, they add a "lottery-like" experience that benefits player engagement and testing.
