Discussion Summary

1. Staking V3 launch date

  • Staking V3 is fully prepared for deployment, but the exact launch date remains undecided.
  • The Council agreed to let Kieran and the marketing team choose the most strategic timing, with the understanding that the launch should not extend beyond early December.

2. Leaderboard rewards

  •  The Council discussed pausing Leaderboard rewards. This pause will not occur until the current Battle Pass Season 1 concludes. Exceptions would include:
    • Illuvium: Beyond.
    • Illuvium: Zero, if revenue distribution for Fuel burn is paused as part of the Safety Pool proposal.

3. Exclude Illuvium: Zero from the Safety Pool

  • Dr. Spoon presented the ICCP proposing the removal of Illuvium: Zero from the Safety Pool.
  • The Council debated whether to continue revenue distribution or replace it with a Shards (Staking V3 rewards) airdrop alternative.

4. vILV voting power bonus based on staking length

  • The Council evaluated adding a voting power bonus tied to staking duration in Staking V3.
  • Such a change would disproportionately benefit large stakers who start staking with the start of Staking V3 and is not something they think should be implemented.
