Balance Update

This update further buffs and builds out Stage 3 Lynxes and makes a big pass on underperforming weapons to give the ranger more power and identity where its needed. Also Tsunami is tuned alongside some smaller Synergy changes


Stage 3 Lynxes

Stage 3 Lynxes now permanently empower their entire team whenever they cast their Omega. Their affinity-specific bonuses have been adjusted to account for affecting all allies:

  • Earth: All allies permanently gain 3 Physical Resistance
  • Water: All allies permanently gain 0.2 Energy Regen
  • Fire: All allies permanently gain 1% base Attack Damage
  • Nature: All allies permanently gain 3 Health Regen
  • Air: All allies permanently gain 3 Energy Resistance

These effects apply to Fighter, Rogue, Bulwark, Psion, and Empath Stage 3 Lynxes.

Illuvials

The units that have the Tsunami synergy are being buffed to compensate for the later Tsunami nerf

Axodon: Improved its Omega’s expiry damage while correcting the displayed totals.

  • Omega expiry damage: 210 → 245
  • Shield description corrected: 420 → 440—the Shield itself is unchanged

Tiktaalik Line: Gushing Cure now provides substantially more team healing and enemy damage.

  • Ebb: Healing and Energy Damage: 75 → 100
  • Fludd: Healing and Energy Damage: 135 → 175
  • Geyyser: Healing and Energy Damage: 200 → 250

Weapons

This pass focuses heavily on helping underused weapons. No weapon received a direct nerf.

Flamewarden Staff: More durable, more accessible, and more threatening when its Omega lands.

  • Health: 500 → 600
  • Omega Cost: 150 → 130
  • Omega Damage: 500 → 600

Shadow Maul: Improved its basic combat tempo and made its expensive Omega more attainable.

  • Attack Speed: 65 → 70
  • Omega Cost: 300 → 250

Ember Buckler: A stronger and more accessible control option.

  • Omega Cost: 210 → 180
  • Omega Damage: 575 → 650

Emberling Rod: Its Omega comes online sooner and now reliably produces both intended blooms.

  • Omega Cost: 160 → 145
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent the second bloom from triggering

Quake Maulers: Improved both its defensive payoff and its ability to break through Physical Resistance.

  • Omega Shield: 450 → 550
  • Physical Resistance reduction per Attack: 5 → 7

Sylphid Blade: Its Omega now carries considerably more immediate impact.

  • Omega Damage: 375 → 500
  • Attack Speed reduction: 3% → 5%

Ember Bastion: Increased the defensive pressure created by attacking into its Omega.

  • Reflected Energy Damage: 25 → 35

Sprout Guard: Increased the durability of its Omega Shield.

  • Omega Shield: 625 → 750

Weapon Amplifiers

Cyclone’s Wake — Aero Edge: Improved its defensive floor.

  • Physical Resistance: 10% → 20%

Razor Squall — Aero Edge: Substantially increased its Omega scaling.

  • Omega Damage: 500 → 750

Bramble Patch — Earthgrasp Sceptre: Increased its Omega damage.

  • Omega Damage: 350 → 500

Crippling Roots — Earthgrasp Sceptre: Significantly improved its resistance shredding.

  • Resistance reduction: 10% → 20%

Ensnaring Vines — Earthgrasp Sceptre: Extended its Omega control duration.

  • Silence duration: 1s → 1.5s

Shattering Spines — Earthgrasp Sceptre: Increased its raw Omega scaling.

  • Omega Power: 50 → 75

Scorching Reflection — Ember Bastion: Increased reflected damage.

  • Reflected Energy Damage: 35 → 50

Crushing Momentum — Grove Sword: Increased its Omega damage.

  • Omega Damage: 900 → 1,100

Energy Catalyst — Lava Gauntlet: Each Omega now provides more permanent scaling.

  • Omega Power gained: 20 → 35

Magma Intensifier — Lava Gauntlet: Increased its Omega damage.

  • Omega Damage: 600 → 750

Consuming Flames — Lava Gauntlet: Increased its Max Health-based damage.

  • Max Health Pure Damage: 10% → 15%

Energy Erosion — Ripple Flail: Empowered Attacks burn substantially more Energy.

  • Energy burned: 25 → 40

Petal Detonation — Sprout Guard: Improved both the Shield and its expiry payoff.

  • Omega Shield: 500 → 750
  • Expiry Energy Damage: 400 → 550

Maelstorm — Tidal Shiv: Increased the permanent Attack Damage gained from casting Omega.

  • Physical Attack Damage gained: 25 → 40

Suit Amplifiers

Dimensional Ambush: Increased both its opening burst window and its permanent post-return payoff.

  • Temporary Attack Speed: 125% → 150%
  • Post-return Attack Damage: 60% → 75%

Echo of the Fallen: Each fallen ally now provides more permanent power.

  • Omega Power per fallen ally: 10 → 12
  • Attack Damage per fallen ally: 8 → 10

Staggering Strike: Reduced the Attack Speed cost of its powerful on-hit effect.

  • Attack Speed penalty: -40% → -30%

Explosive Tempo: Reduced its explosion scaling while preserving its stacking Attack Speed identity.

  • Explosion scaling: 100% → 80% of Attack Speed

Augments

Disruptive Force Reactor: Reduced its immediate stat efficiency. Truesight and stacking Attack Speed on assists are unchanged.

  • Attack Damage: 10% → 5%

Piercing Force Reactor: Reduced its per-Attack Max Health damage.

  • Max Health Pure Damage: 2% → 1%

Phasebreaking Impact Reactor: Slightly reduced its passive stats. Its Health trigger and Untargetable duration are unchanged.

  • Attack Damage: 5% → 4%
  • Health: 5% → 4%

Synergies

Water: Slightly reduced team-wide Energy Regen while retaining stronger scaling at higher thresholds. Water units continue receiving double these values.

  • Team Energy Regen: 1.2 / 2.6 / 4.2 / 6 → 1 / 2.5 / 4 / 5.5
  • Water-unit Energy Regen: 2 / 5 / 8 / 11

Bulwark: Increased its team-wide defensive contribution, with Bulwarks continuing to receive double the amount.

  • Team Resistances: 5 / 10 / 18 → 10 / 15 / 20
  • Bulwark Resistances: 10 / 20 / 36 → 20 / 30 / 40

Colossus: Significantly increased its Max Health scaling.

  • Max Health: 20% / 30% / 45% → 30% / 40% / 55%
  • The Colossus 4 description now correctly shows its existing 6-second Taunt cadence

Mystic: Restored a small amount of power at every threshold.

  • Damage Amp and Damage Reduction: 6% / 11% / 16% → 7% / 12% / 17%

Slayer: Substantially increased its takedown and Vanquish scaling, particularly at higher thresholds.

  • Attack Speed and Attack Damage: 30% / 40% / 50% → 40% / 55% / 70%

Predator: Improved its execution pressure, empowered Attacks, and final-threshold Crit scaling.

  • Execute threshold: 10% / 12% / 15% → 12% / 15% / 20%
  • Empowered Attack damage: 175% / 250% / 375% → 225% / 325% / 450%
  • Predator 4 Crit Amp conversion: 50% → 75% of Crit Chance

Behemoth: Slightly reduced its Max Health and empowered-Attack scaling.

  • Max Health gained: 7% / 10% / 15% → 6% / 9% / 12%
  • Max Health dealt as Physical Damage: 7% / 10% / 15% → 6% / 9% / 12%

Tsunami: Reduced its repeated Omega acceleration while retaining its splash damage and healing identity.

  • Energy refund: 40% / 45% / 50% → 30% / 35% / 40%
  • Splash damage and Tsunami 4 healing are unchanged

Verdant: Reduced its overall healing output

  • Self-healing: 35% / 50% / 65% → 30% / 45% / 60%
  • Flat zone healing: 25 / 30 → 20 / 25 Health per second
  • Verdant 4 zone healing: 3.5% → 3% Max Health
