Automated Drone Runs Update

As we prepare for the launch of Obelisk Rising and introduce Deathmatch to the Illuvium ecosystem, we're making important updates to Automated Drone Runs to ensure greater consistency across our games and reward systems.

What's Changing?

To better align Automated Drone Runs with the upcoming gameplay experience, we have removed the Hyper Run and retained only the Charged Run.

The Charged Run will now:

• Cost 100 Fuel ($1) per run.
• Share the same Illuvial drop odds as Deathmatch Packs, which cost 100 Skulls / 100 Bones ($1).

By standardizing both the cost and reward structure, we're creating a more unified experience across the Illuvium ecosystem.

One Ecosystem, Multiple Ways to Collect

With these changes, players will have greater flexibility in deciding where they want to acquire new Illuvials. Whether you prefer obtaining Illuvials through the Automated Drone Runs or earning them through the Deathmatch Vault, both paths will provide access to the same underlying drop rates.

Importantly, Illuvials will remain fully transferable between the Illuvidex and the Deathmatch Vault, ensuring a seamless experience across products.

There are, however, a few visual differences at launch. Within Deathmatch, players will initially see only an Illuvial's TPI value. Within Deathmatch, players will initially see only an Illuvial's Power value. The detailed trait breakdown displayed in the mini-chart, as well as Holo and Dark Holo finishes, will not be visible from day one. These features are planned as potential future additions, subject to the ongoing evolution and adoption of Deathmatch.

Adjusting Drop Rates for Long-Term Balance

To preserve rarity and maintain healthy progression across both Deathmatch and Obelisk Rising, we have also adjusted Illuvial drop rates.

These changes are designed with the long-term health of the ecosystem in mind, while keeping rewards meaningful, engaging, and exciting across every part of the player experience. We’re genuinely excited about how this helps everything come together in a more cohesive and rewarding way for players.
