Illuvium: Arena Update 1.17.10
Patch Notes
- Date PublishedJun 9, 2026

Balance Update
This update trims several high-value outliers while giving underperforming weapons, synergies, and Stage 3 Lynxes more room to develop distinct identities.
Matchmaking
We are iterating on our own and the community's findings for the matchmaking queue, the current split threshold will still sit at a rating of 1280. The gap between these two queues is currently too large. We are therefore adding more difficult bots to the lower queue and giving it more time to find players.
Illuvials
Axon — Axolotl Stage 2: Axon was providing too much durability and tempo for its cost.
- Health: 1,850 → 1,700
- Starting Energy: 120 → 100
- Energy Resistance: 60 → 55
Caradulo — Water Buffalo Stage 2: Caradulo’s defensive profile was too efficient for a Stage 2 unit.
- Health: 2,000 → 1,800
- Physical Resistance: 50 → 45
- Energy Resistance: 55 → 50
Kukkulus — Dodo Stage 2: Dodo is joining Tier 1 Stage 2 units who are getting too much bang for their buck
- Omega Stun: 3.5s → 3s
Titanor — Beetle Stage 3: Titanor needed more staying power to fulfil its frontline role.
- Health: 3,500 → 3,750
Stage 3 Lynxes
Stage 3 Lynxes now build affinity-specific power whenever they cast their Omega on top of existing effects. These bonuses are permanent and stack throughout combat. We've started off low to play it safe, but we'd like to see more Lynxes in late game comps
- Fire: Permanently gain 3% base Attack Damage
- Water: Permanently gain 0.5 Energy Regen
- Earth: Permanently gain 3 Physical Resistance
- Air: Permanently gain 3 Energy Resistance
- Nature: Permanently gain 5 Health Regen
These effects apply to Fighter, Rogue, Bulwark, Psion, and Empath Stage 3 Lynxes.
Empath Lynxes: Their defensive profile has also been strengthened without increasing their area healing.
- Health: +100
- Physical Resistance: +5
- Energy Resistance: +5
Weapons
Tempest Lance: A small efficiency buff to help its Omega come online sooner.
- Omega Cost: 140 → 130
Ember Buckler: More starting tempo and a more accessible Omega.
- Starting Energy: 40 → 60
- Omega Cost: 240 → 210
Ember Bastion: Improved both the availability and defensive impact of its Omega.
- Omega Cost: 180 → 160
- Omega Damage Reduction: 20% → 25%
Earthgrasp Sceptre: Its Omega now lands harder and can be cast more frequently.
- Omega Cost: 170 → 150
- Omega Damage: 325 → 400
Weapon Amplifiers
Glacial Grip — Aqua Blaster: Its combination of Health and reliable control was too efficient.
- Health: 500 → 400
- Omega Stun: 2.5s → 1.5s
Boundless Trajectory — Strike Boomerang: Infinite range remains its defining benefit, with less raw stat efficiency.
- Health: 300 → 200
- Physical Attack Damage: 15 → 5
Fortified Barrier — Sprout Guard: Reduced the amplifier’s additive durability.
- Health: 500 → 300
- Additional Omega Shield: 500 → 300
Verdant Resilience — Sprout Guard: Reduced both its Health and Max-Health Shield contribution.
- Health: 500 → 400

- Maximum Attack Speed: 40% → 30%
Storm Amplifier — Galewind Bow: More durability and a stronger Omega payoff.
- Health: 300 → 500
- Amplified Omega Damage: 800 → 900
Wind Phantom — Galewind Bow: A careful improvement to both survivability and its Omega window.
- Health: 600 → 800
- Post-Omega Untargetable duration: 1.5s → 2s
Drone Augments
Lightning Speed: This remained one of the most efficient sources of team-wide Attack Speed.

Solid Start: Reduced the amount of uncontested opening time it provides.
- Invulnerable duration: 1.5s/2.5s/3.5s → 1s/2s/3s
Veteran’s Might: Reduced its combined offensive and defensive efficiency.
- Stage 1 Attack Damage/Resistances: 10/10 → 8/8
- Stage 2 Attack Damage/Resistances: 15/15 → 12/12

Synergies
Bloom: Bloom receives a broad durability increase across every threshold.
- Health: 100/225/400 → 125/250/450
- Health Regen: 6/8/10 → 7/9/11
- Omega Power remains unchanged at 10/14/18
Phantom: Removed its passive battle-start protection in favour of a more active rogue-psion identity.
- Battle-start Untargetable: Removed
- First Attack hit now steals 40/60/80 Energy (in theory, this is burn + gain, so if the target unit has less than the energy to steal, the Phantom will still gain this Energy)
- Omega Power gained on Critical Hit remains 8/10/12
- Phantom 4 Omega healing remains unchanged
Revenant: Strengthened both sides of its shield-and-retaliation identity.
- Shield: 35/40/45 → 45/55/65
- Empowered splash damage: 35/40/45 → 45/55/65
Templar: Increased the value stolen and shared through combat.
- Attack Damage stolen/shared: 3/4/5 → 4/5/6
- Resistances stolen/shared: 3/4/5 → 4/5/6
