In our latest balance review, we observed that rogues and water units were exhibiting above-average dominance. To address this, we have made targeted adjustments to specific overperforming water units and implemented nerfs to rogues, specifically targeting Predator, Vanguard, and Hyper traits (to reduce excessive critical amplification gains).

Additionally, we recognized that TerrorBird, a fighter synergy powerhouse, and Bloom have been underperforming in recent updates. We have provided them with some enhancements to bring them in line with their peers.

Energy manipulation mechanics, such as Tempest and Spore, also received adjustments due to their potential to become overly oppressive in specific scenarios.

Finally, we’ve refined various augments that were either overperforming or underperforming, and we resolved several bugs related to AOE Omega abilities to ensure a smoother gameplay experience.

Gameplay & System Updates

Bug Fixes & Other Improvements

  • Fixed a bug where Omega Damage applied regardless of pterodactyl dying during cast. Now, if the cast animation isn’t finished, it won’t apply damage.
  • Fixed a bug where units entering the area 1 second after damage was applied also took the damage. This no longer happens.
  • Omega Animation now lasts 2.8 seconds and Pterodactyl is airborne during the animation.
    • Fixed a bug where units entering the area 1 second after the omega got casted, also got impacted by it. This no longer happens.

  • Tiktaalik: Omega Healing reduced from 175/225/300 to 160/200/280.
  • Thylacine: Attack Damage reduced from 120/175/275 to 120/170/270.
  • Axolotl: Shield Explosion Damage max health scaling reduced from 21/23/25% to 15/15/15%.
  • Water Fliish: Energy Refund reduced from 15/25/35 to 10/15/25.
  • Lynx Empath: Energy cost reduced from 240 to 220.
  • Lynx Bulwark: Energy cost reduced from 200 to 175.
  • TerrorBird: Attack Damage increased from 100/140/200 to 110/145/200.
  • Elk:
    • Energy cost reduced from 160 to 120.
    • Starting Energy reduced from 80 to 60.
    • Omega Missing Health Healing reduced from 15/20/25% to 12/15/18%.
    • Omega Flat Healing reduced from 200/300/500 to 150/250/400.

Affinities & Classes

  • Spore:
    • Omega Max Health Healing increased from 5/10/20% to 6/12/20%.
    • Energy burn reduced from 10/20/40% to 6/12/20%.
  • Vanguard: Resistance Gain on Crit reduced from 15/25/35 to 10/20/30.
  • Invoker: Omega Power Gain based on caster's Energy Cost reduced from 20/25/40% to 15/20/30%.
  • Predator:
    • Crit Chance reduced from 10/20/30% to 5/20/30%.
    • Crit Amp adjusted from 10/150/250% to 10/80/150%.
  • Mystic: All stat buff reduced from 8/16/32% to 7/15/30%.
  • Rogues: Crit Chance and Amp reduced from 14/17/20/28/40% to 14/17/20/25/35%.
  • Tempest:
    • Enemy team Omega Energy Cost Increase reduced from 20/45/120% to 15/30/80%.
    • Energy Gain on Dodge increased from 4/6/10 to 5/10/15.
  • Arcanite:
    • Energy Attack Damage reduced from 40/85/130% to 35/80/130%.
    • Attack speed gain reduced from 40/85/130% to 35/80/130% of the energy cost.
  • Colossus:
    • Bonus Health reduced from 25/45/90% to 25/40/70%.
    • Bonus Resistances reduced from 35/55/100% to 30/45/75%.
  • Templar: Extra attack damage increased from 50/100/250% to 60/120/250%.
  • Bloom: Trigger frequency increased from every 6 seconds to every 5 seconds.
  • Frost: Stack Application frequency increased from every 4 seconds to every 3 seconds.

Forge Augment

  • Sentinel Stunwave: Stun duration reduced from 3 to 2.5 seconds.
  • Retributions Call: Health Bonus reduced from 1000 to 800.
  • Blight Blessing: All stat buff reduced from 8% to 7%.
  • Survival Protocol: Bonus duration reduced from 7 to 6 seconds.
  • Powers Ascent: Instant Energy gain reduced from 50 to 30.
  • Reactive Deflector: Thorns damage reduced from 35 to 32.
  • Vanquisher's Uplink: Invulnerable and Immune duration increased from 3 to 3.5 seconds.
  • Inhibition Field: Energy Inefficiency increased from 35% to 40%.
  • Sentinel Resonance Infusion:
    • Energy Regeneration increased from 5 to 6.
    • Omega Power increased from 35 to 40.
  • Vengeful Smite: Stun duration increased from 0.25 to 0.5 seconds. Effect triggers every 3 attacks instead of every 2.

Other Changes

  • Hyper Rogue: Crit Amp Bonus reduced from 100% to 75%.
