This balance patch introduces Augment and Illuvial balance changes, along with an additional 10 seconds per round to improve player decision-making and execution.

We've also implemented Leviathan Mode Multiplayer Support, enhanced matchmaking, and made several stability improvements for a smoother gameplay experience.

Additionally, we’ve fixed the Drone Damage system, addressing two major issues:

  • Pets and Rangers were incorrectly contributing to Drone Damage.
  • Damage modifiers were always applied one stage ahead.
    • Example: When the modifier should have been -2, it was actually 0.
    • When it should have been +3, it was +5 instead.

With this fix, damage scaling should now feel smoother and more controlled throughout gameplay.

Gameplay & System Updates

Leviathan Mode Multiplayer Support

  • Multiplayer functionality has been enabled for Leviathan Mode, allowing for more competitive and dynamic battles.

Added 10 extra seconds per round

  • Allows for better decision-making and execution during each phase.

Bug Fixes & Other Improvements

  • Pets and Ranger no longer contribute to Drone Damage calculations.
  • Damage modifiers now apply at the correct stages, ensuring smoother, more accurate scaling.
  • Several optimizations have been implemented to reduce crashes and improve game performance.
  • Adjustments have been made to improve matchmaking.
  • Fixed an issue where players could face the same opponent multiple times in a row when more than two players were alive.
  • Resolved a bug that allowed players to deploy more units than their drone level permitted.
  • Fixed a bug causing synergy emblems to disappear during Illuvial Ascension.
  • Leviathan will now correctly default to selecting the highest-level Illuvial.
  • Addressed an error causing the Team Planner to return a 502 and become unresponsive.

Balance Adjustments

Illuvials

  • Elk:
    • Energy cost increased from 120 to 180.
    • Omega Power given to allies adjusted from 5/7/10 to 5/10/15.
    • Healing and Damage missing health scaling increased from 6/9/14 to 10/15/25.
    • Healing and Damage Omega Power Scaling increased from 100/150/250 to 150/225/350.
  • Squid:
    • Omega Power adjusted from 275/675/1050 to 325/600/1000.

Affinities & Classes

  • Dust
    • Blind Duration reduced from 1/1.5/2.5s → 1/1.5/2s.
    • Empowered Attack Damage increased from 70/100/150 → 100/150/200.
    • Resistance Debuff: Decreased from 10/15/20 → 10/12/15.
  • Invoker:
    • Now, Caster also benefits from the Omega Power bonus.

Forge Augment

  • Chronoflux: Removed critical chance bonus of 5%.
  • Shatterpoint:
    • Removed Crit Chance stat.
    • Attack Speed bonus changed from 12% over 6 seconds to 25% over 5 seconds.
  • Umbral Stride:
    • Removed bonus attack speed on vanquish.
    • Empowered attacks reduced from 3 to 1.
    • Empowered damage bonus increased from 60% to 75%.
  • Bloodroot CharmOmnivamp reduced from 20% to 10%.
  • Cryonic TalismanResistances reduced from 25 to 15.
  • Sunder MatrixTrigger effect frequency increased from every 2 attacks to 3 attacks.
  • Critical Surge:
    • Critical Chance reduced from 15% to 10%.
    • Omega Power Gain on critical hit increased from 2 to 3.
  • Battleborn Pact:
    • Shared Attack Damage and Omega Power reduced from 20% to 10%.
    • Removed +50 Bonus Health stat.
  • Plasma CatalystIncreased Energy Piercing stat from 10% to 20%.
  • Primeval Force: Attack Speed bonus reduced from 20% → 10%.
  • Veil Piercer:
    • Maximum stacks reduced from 20 → 10.
    • Truesight activation delay reduced from 12s → 10s.
  • Crimson Vow: Activation threshold softened from 60% max health → 65% max health.
  • LifeWell: Max health healing increased from 2% → 3%.
  • Guardian's Greed:
    • Resistances reduced from 20 → 10.
    • Shield based on resistances increased from 30% → 70%.
  • Emberheart: Omega Power stat reduced from 20 → 10.
  • Counter Shock:
    • Energy Cost Damage reduced from 100% → 75%.
      • Energy Resist given reduced from 30 → 10.
  • Titan Boon: Bonus Health reduced from 600 → 500.
  • Vengeful Mantle: Physical Resistance reduced from 30 → 10.
  • Empyrean Core: Bonus now applies to 2 closest allies, instead of holder and 2 closest allies.
  • Mindstorm: Energy regeneration for the first 5 seconds reduced from 10 → 5.
  • Arcane Accelerator: Omega Power Gain over time reduced from 20 → 10.
  • SpellWeaver Aegis:
    • Max % HP shield reduced from 20% → 15%.
      • Omega Power reduced from 20 → 10.
  • Infurion:
    • Energy gain on start is reduced from 20 → 10.
    • Attack speed bonus every 2 omegas reduced from 20% → 10%.
  • Blazewrath: Removed attack speed bonus stat.
  • Aethersteal: Omega Power stolen reduced from 10 → 5.

Legendary Augment

  • Blightfire: Now also grants +500 HP and +30 resistances.
  • Critical Buffer:
    • Now also grants 1 OP when the holder receives an attack.
    • Max Stacks increased from 40 → 100.
  • Eclipse Catalyst:
    • Reduced buffs for Omega Power and Attack Damage from 50% → 25%.
    • Reduced debuffs for Attack Speed and Resistances from 50 → 25%.
  • Evasive Veiling:
    • Trigger threshold HP reduced from 40% → 25%.
    • Bonus Attack Speed increased from 40% → 75%.
  • Final Abounding:
    • OP reduced from 30 → 25.
    • Crit Chance reduced from 30% → 25%.
  • Leviathan's Fury: Max Health Pure Damage increased from 5% → 6%.
  • Omnisource Surge: OP gain reduced from 50 → 30.
  • Paradox Will: Trigger changed from 10 attacks → 9 attacks.
  • Power’s Ascent: Activation Delay reduced from 30s → 25s.
  • Velthrax: Piercing reduced from 70% → 50%.
  • Voidcleaver: Reduced damage penalty from 60% less damage → 45%.
  • Titan’s Redoubt: Resistance reduced from 70 → 60.
  • Spatial Disruptor: Activation interval decreased from every 5s → every 4s.
  • Reactive Transference:
    • Cooldown increased from 0.5s → 1s.
    • AD conversion changed from 50% AD/5s → 25% AD/5s.
  • Time’s Respite: Shield based on energy cost decreased from 600% → 500%.
  • Stellar Onslaught: Pure damage bonus as % of Omega Power increased from 20% → 50%.
