Illuvium: Beyond Wave 5 - Buyers Guide

Illuvium: Beyond is a digital collectables game built around your own hand-drawn, customisable Illuvitars. Equip your Illuvitar with accessories to make it uniquely yours, fill out your Illuvitar Album, climb the leaderboard, unlock in-game rewards, and earn ILV.

Set 1, Wave 5

Wave 5 of Set 1 introduces 325 collectable items, broken down as follows:

• 25 Tier 0 Illuvitars (available in every Wave, but now with one new Background line)
• 25 Illuvitars (exclusive to Wave 5 with their usual 3 Unique Expressions and 15 Different Backgrounds)
• 75 Accessories (available in every Wave)

Illuvitars and Accessories are acquired through D1SKs that are opened to reveal collectables. Each D1SK contains five items and comes in 4 varieties:

These D1SKs are Minted on Immutable zkEVM for a seamless and collector-friendly experience.

Alpha D1SKs provide no gameplay advantage in the Beyond Album but offer extra points toward both personal and community stretch goals and have a VFX when sleeved into an album or used as a profile picture. D1SKs contain a mix of Illuvitars and Accessories, with Mega variants offering improved odds.

Alpha Sale

The Alpha and Extended sales will begin simultaneously. The Alpha Sale features an unlimited supply of D1SKs only available for 24 hours.

Each Alpha D1SK features the exclusive Alpha symbol stamped on each Illuvitar, highlighting its rarity and marking your contribution to the Wave 5 launch.

Illuvitar D1SK Pull Distribution

Each D1SK’s contents are determined by weighted randomness across several attributes. Wave 5 maintains a structure that aligns with Set 1 overall, while exclusive Wave content has its own distribution.

Note: Backgrounds, Accessories, and Tier 0 Illuvitars use consistent Set 1 weights across all Waves.

Portrait Tier & Stage Weights

Tier is rolled first, followed by stage distribution based on the available supply per stage.

Example: If you roll Tier 2, with 5 Stage 3 and 1 Stage 2 Illuvitars in that tier, the chance of receiving a Stage 3 is approximately 5/8.

Guaranteed Rare Illuvitar (Mega D1SK only)

Mega D1SKs include 1 guaranteed Rare Illuvitar.

• Defined as having 1450+ total Power, placing it in the top 8.5% of all Illuvitars.
• Power includes base Illuvitar and background bonuses.
• You could receive a common Illuvitar with a rare background or a rare Illuvitar with a basic background—both combinations count.

On average, a collector would need to open ~12 Standard D1SKs to receive an Illuvitar with this power level.

Illuvitar Power

Each Illuvitar has a Power Score, which determines how many points it contributes to your Album in Illuvium: Beyond.

Power is based on a combination of weighted attributes across:

• Base Illuvitar stats
• Background rarity
• Accessory impact

Power ensures consistent scoring across Sets and Waves.
