This update delivers several long-awaited features and key quality-of-life improvements, including Imprint Tailoring for crates, Holo/Dark Holo cosmetics in Casual and Ranked (based on ownership), the New Main Menu UI and the highly anticipated Spectator Mode — a critical step forward for the competitive Arena scene.
Gameplay & System Updates
Imprint Tailoring (Synergy Crates)
Crate synergy options are no longer fully random. Instead, they now favor synergies relevant to your current composition, reducing the impact of RNG and supporting more competitive, consistent gameplay.
*Note: The tailoring is applied to 2 of the 3 options offered. So one option will still always be random.
Tailoring Weight System:
- 1 contributing unit → Weight 3
- 2 units → Weight 4
- 3 units → Weight 5
- 4+ units → Weight 6
This ensures every crate offers usable options that can support or push your build strategy.
Guidance Tooltips
Contextual tips will now appear in-game to guide newer players. These can be easily turned on or off via the settings menu.
Augment Tooltips
When forging augments, the system will suggest the most suitable Illuvials (from your roster) to equip each augment — helping beginners make smarter decisions during loadout.
Click-Drag-Click Option (Settings)
The previously added "Click-Drag-Release" system now has a toggle in settings to switch to "Click-Drag-Click," better suited for platforms like Steam Deck.
Bonding Disclaimer UI
Improved UI now clearly alerts players when their Ranger is unbonded, preventing accidental round starts without a bonded Illuvial.
Improved Selling Zone
The sell area has been pushed further from the board edges to prevent accidental Illuvial sales when positioning near boundaries.
Ranger Gear Reroll System
Players now have more flexibility when choosing:
- Weapons — with rerolls available
- Weapon Amplifiers — also rerollable, or pivotable to a new weapon with pre-selected amps
- Suit Amplifiers — offered one at a time, rerollable endlessly for 1 credit each

Holo & Dark Holo Visuals in Casual/Ranked
Owned Holo and Dark Holo Illuvials now appear with their unique cosmetics in Casual and Ranked modes. These are purely visual — no gameplay impact — letting players showcase their collections.

Drone Transparency
Hovering your mouse over the opponent’s drone now makes it translucent and transclickable, solving the issue of blocked vision and unwanted interference.

Drone Augments Repositioned
Drone augments now appear beside the board rather than floating over the drone, giving you a clearer view during combat and planning.
Crate Inventory Update
Crates earned from PvE rounds are now automatically stored in your Crate Inventory, located just above the drone augment container. No more clutter—just clean organisation.
Critical Strike Visuals
All damage numbers—including critical strikes—now feature enhanced visual effects, making combat feedback more readable and satisfying at a glance.
Spectator Mode Fixes
Numerous bugs affecting spectator mode have been resolved, resulting in smoother camera transitions, accurate unit displays, and a more stable viewing experience overall.
Additional Polish & Audio Highlights
This patch also includes several audio and experience improvements:
- Improved Music Transitions – Smoother flow between fight phases, carousel, and main menu.
- Final Carousel Music – The new carousel track is now final.
- Spectator Mode Polishing – Bug fixes and smoother camera transitions for custom match viewing.
- Menu SFX, Ranger Omegas, and Drone Blasts – Updated and refined for a more immersive experience.
Special thanks to the SFX team for advancing the audio experience.
