This update delivers the complete localization of arena, a bunch of gameplay improvements and a complete balancing pass.

Gameplay & System Updates

Full Arena Localization

With the latest update we enabled main menu localization. Now we are bringing full localization across the entire arena experience.

New Drone Augments

We are adding 10 new drone augments to the roaster. This expands compositional options and allows for deeper specialization within specific archetypes.

Augment Recycler

To fix those frustrating games where Augment Components and Offerings don't match your build, meet the Recycler: a reroller that swaps Components or Forge Augments for a random one from the same category.

How it works: During Placement Phase, drag the unwanted item into the Recycler (in your inventory, see image below). After the fight, a new item from the same category appears in the Recycler for your next Placement Phase.

This trades the item's immediate use in battle for a shot at the roll you want.

Category types:

  • Components ( Red, Yellow and Blue).
    • Outcome example: You place a red component in the recycler, next round you will get a yellow or blue component instead.
  • Impact Reactors.
  • Omega Reactors.
  • Pulse Reactors.
  • Stasis Reactors.
  • Force Reactors.
  • Void Reactors.

*Note: Legendary Augments and Synergy Imprints cannot be rerolled.

Tailoring Update

We're upgrading the Tailoring Algorithm to boost player agency.

Before this patch, the offering was weighted as follows:

  • 2/3 tailored with board & bench + 1/3 completely random.

After this patch, the offering will be weighted as follows:

  • 2/3 tailored with board & bench + 1/3 tailored with just the board.

Weapon Rerolls

With shorter games making weapon pivots tougher, we've bumped weapon rolls from 2 to 4 in weapon amplifier rounds.
This will give players more flexibility to adapt their comp around their weapon.

Balance Adjustments

Last patch's rogue buffs have reestablished them as a threat. Combined with dominant Fighters, this has solidified auto-attack compositions, elevating Air affinity to new heights via its dodge mechanics, which shine brightest against auto-attackers.

This patch targets Fighters and Air as overperforming synergies, alongside the thriving composites built around Air, Fighters, and Rogues. We've also provided targeted support for underperformers in Nature, Empaths, and Tsunami, complemented by precision tuning to Weapons, Suits, and Augments.

Illuvials

Fennec Fox (Winq/Quinx/Ghazotep): 

  • On Omega, Damage and Shield: 125 → 100.

Tiktaalik (Ebb/Fludd/Geyyser): 
We want to bring back Tiktaalik line back to an off tank unit rather than just a caster. For that reason we are increasing its health significantly at the cost of losing omega impact. This will also help it synergyze better with tsunami's aoe damage effect.

  • Health: 1400/1800/2400 → 1800/2400/3200.
  • Omega Healing and Damage 100/140/200 → 75/125/175.

Affinities & Classes

Fighter: 

Fighter is still dominating in the meta, so we're tuning it down slightly.

  • Bonus Attack Speed: 8/12/19/24% → 7/11/16/21%.

Empath:

Empath is the lowest performing class at the moment, we are helping it.

  • Shield based on max health: 4/9/15% → 5/10/15%.

Air:

Air is performing too well.

  • Dodge: 7/14/21% → 6/12118%.

Nature: 

Similar to Empaths, Nature needs a bump up on lower thersholds.

  • Missing health % Regeneration: 1/1.5/2.75/3.25% → 1.25/1.75/3/3.5%.
  • Max threshold damage based on missing health: 2% → 1.5%.

Composites

Invoker: 

Invoker 2 has been overperforming due to its high reward/easy accessibility.

  • Omega Power gain based on % of energy cost: 14/15/16% → 12/15/16%.

Vanguard:

Rogue bump up has helped Vanguards. Vanguard 3 in particular is too rewarding.

  • Empowered attack damage based on target's max health: 5/7/10% → 5/6/10%.

Predator:

Same as above, rogue bump up has put Predators in a slightly too solid spot.

  • Empowered Attack Damage bonus: 200/275/400% → 175/250/375%.

Arcanite:

Giving some needed strength to Arcanite 4.

  • Attack Speed gain based on Omega Power: 55/75/100% → 55/75/110%.
  • Attack Damage gain based on Energy cost: 55/75/100% → 55/75/110%.

Colossus:

Colossus 3 and 4 are underperforming considering its achievement difficulty.

  • Max Health bonus: 16/26/36% → 16/28/40%.

Toxic: 

Too reliable and higher thresholds, adjusting its values to put it on a fairer spot.

  • Max Health Enemy explosion on takedown: 8/12/16% → 8/11/14%.

Magma:

Slightly underperforming in all thresholds, specially Magma 4.

  • Damage per second from molten ground: 40/60/85% → 50/65/95%.

Tsunami:

This is the worst performing composite by far. By making tiktaalik more tanky and buffing the damage and refund of tsunami, we expect its units can shine brigther in fights.

  • AoE Damage on Omega based on energy cost: 220/260/300% → 240/280/320%.
  • Energy Refund on omega: 22/26/30% → 24/28/32%.

Spore: 

Despite Air dominance, spore has struggled to find a fair spot. Helping it a bit.

  • % Max health healing on omega: 7/10/12% → 8/11/14%.
  • % of burnt energy based on enemy energy cost: 7/10/12% → 8/11/14%.

Weapon & Amplifiers

Strike Boomerang: 

  • Energy Cost 140 → 160.
  • BoundlessTrajectory Amplifier: 
    • Attack Damage 20 → 15.

Vinebound Cleaver: 

  • Attack Damage: 90 → 85.
  • Enhanced Draining Amplifier: 
    • Omnivamp: 15% → 10%.
  • Chlorophyll Rush Amplifier: 
    • Attack Damage: 30 → 25.

Emberling Rod: 

  • BloodRoot Pact Amplifier: 
    • Omnivamp: 30% → 40%.
  • Fertile Flow Amplifier: 
    • Bonus Health: 600 → 400.
  • Delayed Blossom Amplifier: 
    • Second Blossom Damage: 800 → 700.

Aqua Blaster: 

  • Tidal Penetration Amplifier: 
    • Resistance Penetration: 70 → 60%.
    • Bonus Health: 400 → 300.
  • Scaling Wave Amplifier: 
    • Omega Power: 20 → 15.

Sprout Guard: 

  • Starting Energy: 80 → 120.
  • Petal Detonation Amplifier: 
    • Damage on shiled explosion: 300 → 400.
  • Reflective Barrier Amplifier: 
    • Reflection Damage: 8 → 10.

Elderwood Stave: 

  • Piercing Thorns: 
    • Max Health Damage: 15 → 20%.

Ember Buckler: 

  • Unrelenting Force: 
    • Stun Duration: 3.5 → 4seconds.

Flamewarden Staff: 

  • Judgement Fall: 
    • Bonus Health: 100 → 200.
    • Damage: 700 → 800.
  • Searing Echo: 
    • Over Time Damage: 10 → 12%.
    • Over Time Damage Duration: 5→ 4seconds.

Suit Amplifiers

Evasive Momentum: 

  • Attack Speed and Movement Speed on dodge: 40 → 50%.

Temporal Flare: 

  • Every 2nd Omega, bonus Attack Speed granted to allies: 45% → 50%.

Ironclad Blessing: 

  • Hex Radius: 25 → 28.

Forge Augments

Arcane Omega Reactor: 

  • Omega Power gained each 5 seconds: 4 → 3.

Siphon Impact Reactor: 

  • Bonus Health: 200 → 100.
  • Bonus Omega Power: 10 → 5.

Disruptive Force Reactor: 

  • Attack Speed on takedown: 5% → 3%.

Restorating Impact Reactor: 

  • % Max Health recovered on takedown: 8 → 7%.
  • Resistances gained on takedown: 8 → 7.

Legendary Augments

Arcane Conduit: 

  • Energy Gained on attack: 8 → 7.

Celestial Cycle: 

  • Starting Energy: 50 → 40.

Titan's Redoubt: 

  • % Bonus Health: 40 → 45%.
