Gameplay & System Updates

This update boosts Bots and Ranger Ownership Strength, brings back the Forge Augment with clearer descriptions, balances select composites and mechanics, enables leaderboards during queues, and removes Ownership from Casual modes.

Bots and Ranger Ownership Boost

Bonus stats for Bot Illuvials and players’ Rangers were previously calculated using both the first and second collection choices, which lowered their mean and reduced competitiveness. We have now recalculated Average Active Ownership using only the first collection choice. This increases the average TPI and Active Ownership level, directly enhancing Bot and Ranger strength.

Forge Augments

The Forge Augment simplification had reduced game complexity too drastically. We’ve reinstated the original Forge Augment system to make Gauntlet games more engaging and provide players with deeper strategic choices. In addition, the description UI has been improved for greater clarity.

XP Boosters UI

We’ve improved the XP Boosters UI for better clarity and usability. When purchasing multiple boosters from the same category, the UI now clearly displays the extended total duration. If boosters from both categories are active, they will now both be shown simultaneously in the interface.

Additionally, booster names have been updated from “3x” and “7x” to “+200%” and “+600%” to make their benefits easier to understand.

Leaderboard Enabled during Queues

Players can now check the leaderboard while waiting in game queue.

Ownership has been removed from Casual mode

To provide a more beginner-friendly experience and prevent new players from being overwhelmed by advanced collections, the ownership bonus has been removed from Casual mode.
