In our latest balance review, we observed that rogues and water units were exhibiting above-average dominance. To address this, we have made targeted adjustments to specific overperforming water units and implemented nerfs to rogues, specifically targeting Predator, Vanguard, and Hyper traits (to reduce excessive critical amplification gains).
Additionally, we recognized that TerrorBird, a fighter synergy powerhouse, and Bloom have been underperforming in recent updates. We have provided them with some enhancements to bring them in line with their peers.
Energy manipulation mechanics, such as Tempest and Spore, also received adjustments due to their potential to become overly oppressive in specific scenarios.
Finally, we’ve refined various augments that were either overperforming or underperforming, and we resolved several bugs related to AOE Omega abilities to ensure a smoother gameplay experience.
Gameplay & System Updates
Bug Fixes & Other Improvements
- Fixed a bug where Omega Damage applied regardless of pterodactyl dying during cast. Now, if the cast animation isn’t finished, it won’t apply damage.
- Fixed a bug where units entering the area 1 second after damage was applied also took the damage. This no longer happens.
- Omega Animation now lasts 2.8 seconds and Pterodactyl is airborne during the animation.
- Fixed a bug where units entering the area 1 second after the omega got casted, also got impacted by it. This no longer happens.
