Illuvium Main Council (IMC) Review

The Illuvium Main Council (IMC) discussed Johnny’s CCG idea, Illuvium Beyond Wave extension, Illuvium Beyond proposals, suspicious Arena Leaderboard activity, and Open Beta marketing plans. Furthermore, the IMC discussed the Capital Raise and decided on what was best for the DAO.

The IMC held a Council Town Hall to address feedback and concerns from the community.

Illuvium Community Council (ICC) Review

The Illuvium Community Council (ICC) held discussions about the ILV Community Tournament Grant, Illuvium Beyond proposals, Johnny’s CCG idea, IMX onboarding, the potential for an ILV ‘meme-coin’ and Weekly Community Events.

Ultimately, listening to the community's feedback regarding Arena updates, the imminent launch of Illuvium and their thoughts on upcoming features took priority. Relaying this information to the Team has become a crucial component of the Council this month, ensuring that Labs and the IMC are aware of the discussions taking place inside and outside the discord.

Proposals Recap

IIP-47 Illuvium Beyond Wave Duration Adjustment DECLINED

This proposal aims to set the duration of all future Illuvium Beyond Waves at four months and have the Team determine the gap between Waves. However, the IMC declined this proposal. Instead, the IMC wants to allow the team flexibility in determining both the duration and timing of future Beyond Waves. They have also made it clear that although Set 1 has been inconsistent so far, they strive for consistency especially for Set 2 of Illuvium Beyond.

IIP-48 Illuvium Beyond Individual Stretch Goals NEEDS REVISION

This proposal aims to change the Illuvium Beyond Stretch Goals system by shifting the focus from the quantity of purchased D1sks to points earned from purchased D1sks. Specifically, it proposes to assign Mega D1sks five times more points than Standard D1sks and reintroduce higher stretch goals. The IMC requested a more comprehensive analysis based on previous Waves to be conducted.

Major Governance Discussions

Game Pitch: Illuvium Beyond - Survival of the Fittest

Before summarizing this, it should be clear that although this proposal has come from Johnny, it is by no means a guarantee of its production now, or straight after the Open Beta. The discussion on this game pitch cannot be conducted until the DAO is ready for a discussion surrounding future Illuvium titles.

The aim of this idea is to explore the development of a new collectible card game (CCG) that utilizes Illuvitars and Illuvials. The CCG should enhance the value of Illuvitars, promote bonding with accessories, and broaden the Illuvium gaming ecosystem. The setting of the CCG is intended to capitalize on the playful nature of Illuvitar accessories, such as clown noses, gold chains and meme glasses. However, there has been discussion within the community regarding whether the CCG should adopt a more serious theme and utilize new assets instead of Illuvitars. Additionally, there has been discourse on how a new card game could compete with existing Web3 card games.

Illuvipets Part 2

The aim of this idea is to continue the discussion on a new mobile game that is inspired by Tamagotchi and Pokemon Go. The game would utilize existing assets such as plants, fuel, Illuvials, Illuvitars and land. The community discussed further development of this idea and hopes for it to be included in one of the next games to be developed. There was also some discussion regarding leveling up Illuvials via this system and integrating it with the broader ecosystem in a complimentary way.

Illuvium-themed meme coin distributed to community (stakers, players etc. and [treasury])

The aim of this idea is to discuss a memecoin airdrop to the community inspired by Jupiter’s “WEN” memecoin. The community feels that a memecoin could be a good marketing initiative. Discussions included potential ticker, tokenomics, and distribution mechanics for the memecoin. However, the launch and liquidity of the memecoin should be provided by the community.
